In polytunnels we experienced the modification of the micro climate inside the tunnel, more equable and amenable to plant growth, ie cooler in hot conditions, warmer in cool conditions.
We would expect full control of insects, moulds and disease, with appropriate care being taken of the crop, without drugs and chemicals
